CPD with the School of Calmology

The School of Calmology is a well-being training provider. We create courses to support CPD learning for qualified reflexologists and childcare professionals. Delivering bespoke training for individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of babies, children, teenagers, and adults, whether as part of their professional development or an addition to their current business. We are CPD-approved by the Association of Reflexologists and the Federation of Holistic Therapists. A range of other insurance providers also accept our qualifications.

We offer the following courses for Qualified Reflexologists;

 

Baby Reflex (Baby Reflexology, Practitioner & Parent Instructor Training)

It is a fantastic course where you will learn about the founder, Jenny Lee, the excellent research she completed and how it was instrumental in the development of Baby Reflex. We will provide you with the tools to deliver treatments to babies and children as well as the skills & resources to teach parents. Classes may be done in groups or 1-1's. We discuss the importance of creating bespoke foot maps to meet the needs of the baby and caregiver where necessary. There are so many ways to integrate this learning into your current business. The content is flexible, and we are passionate that it is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every baby is unique, every family is unique, and every home environment will be unique, so our classes must be too!

 

Toddler Reflex (Toddler Hand Reflexology, Practitioner & Instructor Training)

It is a beautiful, fun and interactive course where you will learn about working with this age group, developmental changes and the best ways to engage using hand reflexology. We combine techniques with fabulous and well-known nursery rhymes. Our techniques are also great for older children. We remove the Nursery rhymes and replace them with visualisations and meditations. Again, being adaptable is the key when working with babies and children, so we are passionate about providing content that enables you to do this.

 

Baby Reflexage (Massage & Movement, Practitioner & parent Instructor Training)

Here, you'll learn about the history of baby massage, its benefits, Baby development, the importance of movement, identifying and reading baby cues, parental and caregiver support, completing consultations, precautions and guidelines, contraindications, and much more! You will receive a training pack with a comprehensive handbook, parent guides, and charts to support your and your parents' learning. We provide all the tools you need to start from the ground up and running.

 

When you sign up, you will receive a free anatomy and physiology module to ensure your knowledge is current and relevant to working with children.

 

All courses are available to complete individually via our online learning portal.
